pr3 Release Underway

With the release of SnowRES pr2 we have begun immediately on the pr3 release of the script.

New features coming in the next release include:
  • Google Maps property locator - held back from pr2 release
  • Last Minute specials functions - held back from pr2 release
  • Admin Edit Reservation functions
  • Admin Edit Customer functions
  • Enhanced Weather report module
  • Windows Desktop Widget showing new reservations (Windows Vista and Windows 7 only)
Further additions will be added to this development list over the next couple of weeks

A range of code optimisations and enhancements of existing modules will also be undertaken, and any requests from customers for additional modules, functionality or enhancements will also be looked at. Please lodge a bug report at http://bugs.snowtech.com.au with the details or post a request into these forums and we will investigate.


expected release of pr3 is in early September 2009.

A major part of the new release is the new property management pages

This entire area of the admin is being totaly re-designed into an easier to use tabbed setup where each section of a propertys configuration will be easily editable and viewable to the admin

    * NEW Site Security functions to help prevent attempts at XSS and SQL Injection hacks
    * Badwords corrector - Fixes words entered by customers that are misTypEd to make them look clean in the database
